DJ Darren Tracy has been working in the industry since 2013. He started DJing when another coworker offered him a gig at a local bar. He knew Darren was interested in becoming a DJ and thought this venue would be a good start. Shortly after, he purchased his first DJ controller, joined TJ Monte Productions and was filling in at some of our popular, Downtown Detroit gigs.
Darren’s favorite part of DJing is not only the music but making people happy. He says that it is the best feeling to see a crowd have fun and enjoy their night with the songs that he plays.
With over 10 years on the TJMP team, Darren has been able to experience almost every kind of event. He learns what a client wants and needs to be able to cater to their dreams! His one goal, for every event, is to make our clients smile!
Aside from weddings, you can catch him at some of our larger productions including St. Patrick’s Day and Opening Day. Darren is our main lighting technician so you can find him DJing on stage or running the light show from the side.
Outside of TJMP, Darren enjoys his free time traveling, video games, catching a movie or trying new restaurants.
